The Marivent Palace’s Garden and Joan Miró’s Works - the fantastic route to experience Mallorca
Get to stroll through the gorgeous gardens of Marivent Palace that is the residence of the Spanish Royal Family in Mallorca.
This palace was built by Joan Saridakis, Egyptian, at the beginning of the XX Century.
The access to those gardens will show you some of the fantastic native mallorcan vegetation and sculptures of Joan Miró, the famous Catalan
artist, ceramist and painter, with sculptures spreaded out along a 9.000 square meter plot,
The next stop will be in Fundació Miró Mallorca that is well known as Fundació Pilar I Joan Miró.
After that you will see Son Boter, which was the first venue where the artist worked in Mallorca. By the way this building was built in the XVIII
century.
At the end of the tour, you will go to Edificio Moneo to discover works that were made by Miró and other contemporary artists including ceramics, drawings,
sculptures, paintings etc.
Free time to go shopping in the foundation’s boutique and enjoy the sculpture’s garden.
After that, have lunch in an Italian restaurant with amazing views over the Mediterranean Sea in one of Palma’s most emblematic building.
